Between 1909 and 1931, at the behest of French financier and photography enthusiast Albert Kahn, a team of photographers traveled to 50 countries of the world to take over 72,000 color images of life taking place all around the globe. Those photos, along with a plentiful supply of letters and diaries, have been preserved at the Albert Kahn Museum in Paris. This British documentary series offers viewers a survey of the impressive collection.
