A sleepy little Kansas farm town becomes the battlefield in an intergalactic chase between a passel of carnivorous little creatures and a team of bounty hunters, in the sci-fi thriller "Critters" (1986). Dee Wallace Stone, M. Emmet Walsh, Billy Green Bush, Scott Grimes, Don Opper star. Then, they're back, and hungrier than ever! Those fear-inducing furballs from outer space have found a new town to feast on, in "Critters 2" (1988). With Grimes, Opper, Liane Curtis. Next, "Critters 3" (1991) finds the toothy terrors turning an inner-city tenement upside-down in search of new people to chew on. Aimee Brooks, Leonardo DiCaprio (in his first film role), and Opper star. And, it's "Critters"-mania as those ferocious, furry creatures return, only this time they're genetically mutated "super-critters" made to take over the universe. "Critters 4" (1992) stars Opper, Angela Bassett, and Brad Dourif. 5 3/4 hrs. total on two discs.
