In the atmospheric thriller "Boiling Point" (1993), Wesley Snipes stars as a U.S. Treasury agent who tries to find his partner's killer by infiltrating Los Angeles' criminal underworld. The culprits turn out to be a veteran con artist (Dennis Hopper) with a penchant for dealing in counterfeit money and his trigger-happy assistant (Viggo Mortensen). Then, when a secretary is found murdered inside the White House, a veteran D.C. homicide detective (Snipes) finds his investigation into the crime meeting with high-level opposition. He teams with a Secret Service agent (Diane Lane) to find the killer, but their search uncovers a shocking secret with global ramifications, in the gripping thriller "Murder at 1600" (1997).
