Found shortly after World War II, the 1942 Nazi-produced film "Das Ghetto" was purported to be a documentary look at everyday Jewish life in the Warsaw Ghetto. Using recently discovered footage, director Yael Hersonski shows how the "real-life" scenes were in fact staged for propaganda purposes. Interviews with several Holocaust survivors and a German cameraman who worked on the film add insight to this emotional saga. 90 min. Widescreen; Soundtrack: English, German, Hebrew, Polish, and Yiddish Dolby Digital stereo; Subtitles: English; interview; bonus short "Death Mills" (1945); more. In English and German, Hebrew, Polish, and Yiddish with English subtitles.
