A House Made of Splinters

In Lysychansk, in the war-ravaged East of Ukraine, a special orphanage exists looking after the needs of children whose parents still live, but no longer have the mental or physical capacity to provide for them. This moving documentary effort focuses on three such youngsters and the mission of the social workers out to give them stability and prep them for integration into new homes if return to their own lives proves impossible. 87 min.
