It was a breeze for master thief Aldo "the Fox" Vanucci (Peter Sellers) to loot $3 million in gold from a Cairo armored car...but getting the bullion into Rome would be the tough part. His solution: set up an elaborate (albeit phony) movie shoot─and have the extras bring it ashore! Frenetic caper farce co-stars Britt Ekland, Martin Balsam, Akim Tamiroff, and Victor Mature as the "production's" washed-up lead; Vittorio De Sica directs from Neil Simon's script. 103 min. Widescreen; Soundtrack: English; theatrical trailers.
