After the Storm

The onetime promise of his literary career long behind him, gambling-addicted divorcé Shinoda Ryôta (Hiroshi Abe) earns a meager living as a private eye, with the occasional scam on the side. After the death of his father, though, the habitual loser realizes that he might be running out of chances to do right by the young son (Taiyo Yoshizawa) that he barely supports.
