Air Force Battles

One of the most important items towards the end of World War II were the airborne forces of the opponents. Although the Nazis were the masters of the skies at the beginning of the war of conquest, they had to suffer a first and severe defeat due to the air battle of England. In the course of the war the allied forces could claim the sovereignty over the airspace- especially by the cooperation of the American and English air Forces and thus accelerate the end of the war.
