Surrealistic look at a young filmmaker (Donald Sutherland) trying to decide on what project will follow his successful first effort. As he attempts to retain his artistic integrity and continue to pursue his dream of making films that are intelligent and insightful, he must also deal with family issues and the shallowness of Hollywood.
