Alias the Bad Man / Branded Men (1931)

Alias the Bad Man (1931) - Ken rides into town hoping to help his father with a cattle rustling neighbor, only he arrives too late. His father has been killed along with the suspected rustler Warner. Mary Warner believes Ken's father is to blame so Ken hides his relation so he can investigate what is going on, even pretending to be an outlaw so the gang of rustlers will recruit him. Branded Men (1931) - Pugnacious Cowboys Rod Whitaker and his pals Ramrod and Half-A-Rod roll into Steep Gulch looking for work in risky country being hounded by a gang of rustlers. However when their own horses are rustled almost right out from under them they decide to take work replacing the recently gunned down sheriff. Surely these three tough cow punchers can take on any gang.
