Host Jamie McDonald hits the road to find unique craft persons, one-of-a-kind shows, and businesses across America. Places include the oldest candy manufacturer in America: F B Washburn Candy Corporation in Brockton, Massachusetts; in Red Boiling Springs, Tennessee, Jamie visits with a fifth-generation family who makes wooden chairs from scratch; a model steam engine company in Jeanette, Pennsylvania, which makes all their products in their original workshop; a third-generation broom maker in Symsonia, Kentucky, shows us that all brooms are not created equal; in Logan, Ohio, there is a company still making old fashioned washboards and shipping them around the world; in Bucyrus, Ohio, the art of coppersmiths is alive and well; and in Gravel Switch, Kentucky, we visit one of the oldest and original general stores in the country.
