In honor of the 150th anniversary of the Civil War, HISTORY (tm) presents a special episode of AMERICAN PICKERS. Mike and Frank, on assignment from the Gettysburg Museum, hunt down Civil War items. Along the way the guys have some extracurricular, Civil War themed fun. They hunt for war relics using metal detectors and get into the spirit by joining a local re-enactment group, leading their respective troops into battle, each of them getting to fire their muskets. While uncovering rare items and memorabilia, Mike and Frank spend time with local characters that provide general, sometimes quirky information about the war and what was left behind.
