DVD. In 2018, André Rieu performed a record number of 13 Vrijthof concerts - 150,000 fans from over 80 countries came to Maastricht. Special guests included Los del Rio with their megahit 'Macarena'. Love in Maastricht was recorded with 28 cameras on three nights, capturing the most emotional moments on and off stage - It includes world famous songs and arias such as 'Nessun Dorma' by Giacomo Puccini, 'Granada', 'You'll Never Walk Alone', the 'Snowwaltz', and the 'Radetzky March'; global hits like 'Can't Help Falling In Love', and goosebumps-inducing interpretations of 'You Raise Me Up' and 'Lara's Theme' and of course 'The Beautiful Blue Danube' - the DVD has 2.20 hrs of pure romance and magical entertainment - The cinema broadcast of this concert grossed 1.66 Mio GBP at the UK box offices, breaking a new record and becoming the biggest cinema music concert event of all time.
