This collection of writer/director Michael Almereyda films shot using a Fisher Price toy camcorder─aka "Pixelvision"─begins with "Another Girl Another Planet" (1992), a stylish feature paying homage to the French New Wave with its story of two men and their relationship to each other and the women in their lives. Barry Del Sherman, Isabel Gillies star. Amy Hobby co-directs the documentary "At Sundance" (1995), Almereyda's chronicle of the 1995 Sundance Film Festival. Features appearances by filmmakers Atom Egoyan, Todd Haynes, and Richard Linklater. Also includes the short films "Aliens" (1993), in which two young boys discuss movies while playing video games, and "The Rocking Horse Winner" (1997), which transports the D.H. Lawrence short story to modern-day Los Angeles. 163 min. total. Standard; Soundtrack: English.
