Off the coast of South Korea, a freighter transporting a captured, 36-foot mutant gorilla has the misfortune of being torn apart by its very angry cargo. Swimming ashore, the sizable simian starts smashing his way towards Seoul, while taking time out to abduct an American actress (Joanna Kerns, in her screen debut) who captures his fancy.
