Recently widowed wildlife biologist Nate Samuels (Idris Elba) thought it would be restorative for himself and his teenage daughters (Iyana Halley, Leah Jeffries) if they journeyed to his wife's South African homeland and visited the preserve run by his old colleague (Sharlto Copley).
