Begin Again

A British songwriter (Keira Knightley) in Manhattan, at loose ends after being dumped by her longtime professional/life partner (Adam Levine), reluctantly participates in an open mic night. Her act gets caught by a scuffling, hard-drinking music producer (Mark Ruffalo), setting up a collaboration that may redeem them both.
