ABC's answer to "Saturday Night Live," this fondly remembered 1980-82 sketch comedy series delighted late-night audiences with such off-the-wall characters as the Rasta Chef, the pill-popping Pharmacist, and pro wrestlers the Golden Boys; guest stars (including a memorable appearance by Andy Kaufman), and musical acts ranging from Kiss to The Clash. Mark Blankfield, Melanie Chartoff, Rich Hall, Jack Burns, and a pre-"Seinfeld" Larry David and Michael Richards were among the ensemble cast.
