Black Jesus: Season One

What if Jesus Christ came back as a black man living on the rough streets of Los Angeles' Compton neighborhood? That's the premise of this hilariously off-the-wall Adult Swim series that finds a modern-day savior (Gerald "Slink" Johnson) and his faithful followers spreading a message of love and kindness--while smoking large amounts of marijuana and occasionally tangling with the police. Charlie Murphy, Corey Holcomb, Kali Hawk also star.
