To all appearances, middle-aged small-town pet shop owners Betta and Hermes seem to be happy longtime marrieds much like any other. However, their downtime is largely spent engineering and enjoying polyamorous encounters with other willing individuals--and both the pleasures and strains of a modern-era swinging existence receive a matter-of-fact exploration in this revealing but not exploitative documentary analysis. 88 min.
