Blue (1968)
Action-packed Western with Terence Stamp as Azul, an American raised by a Mexican bandit who saves a beautiful woman and her father, then comes into conflict with his adoptive brothers when he decides to leave his home. Filmed in Utah simultaneously with Jud Taylor's drama "Fade In," the film co-stars Ricardo Montalban, Joanna Pettet, Joe De Santis, and Karl Malden. 113 min. C/Rtg: NR
Fade In (1973)
Southwest sheep rancher Rob (Burt Reynolds) thought it would be fun and a few easy bucks to be a driver for the Hollywood Western location shoot that came to town. However, the feelings he develops for attractive assistant editor Jean (Barbara Loden) would prove to be other than simple or easily dismissed. Long-unseen romance--filmed concurrently with "Blue" in 1968, shelved for five years until TV broadcast, disowned by director Jud Taylor and credited to "Alan Smithee"--co-stars Noam Pitlik, James Hampton. 93 min. C/Rtg: NR
