In this unusual romantic drama, hard-drinking hot-shot ad exec Buddy Amaral (Ben Affleck) gives up his plane ticket to a stranger. When the flight crashes, killing all on board, a shaken Buddy re-evaluates his life and sets out to make amends with the man's widow, Abby (Gwyneth Paltrow), and children.
