Brian and Charles

In a small Welsh village, isolated tinkerer Brian Gittis (David Earl) decided he needed more for subsistence than the cabbages he tilled--so he cobbled a mannequin, a refrigerator, and whatever else was handy into the robot companion that would name itself Charles (Chris Hayward). The hapless handyman would soon find his creation's innate curiosity more than he could deal with, in this affable charmer scripted by the leads. Louise Brealey, Nina Sosanya also star. 90 min.
