After an in-game, on-air rant over his wife’s infidelities, hard-drinking veteran major league broadcaster Jim Brockmire (Hank Azaria) was booted from the booth...and for a decade no reputable organization would touch him. That ended when desperate-for-attention Jules James (Amanda Peet)--owner of the low-minors Morristown Frackers--signed him on, and Brockmire’s efforts to reclaim his career propel this savvy IFC sitcom spun out of a "Funny or Die" offering.
