This early horror-comedy from director Ivan Reitman stars Eugene Levy and Andrea Martin (who improvised much of their dialogue) as a young couple who gets stranded in a dreary Canadian town. The pair seeks refuge in a local eatery, only to find out that the place is run by a trio of female cannibals and their evil reverend ringleader. Included is the special "warning bell" gimmick, which alerts squeamish viewers to scenes of impending terror. 84 min.
