At odds with his art and life, filmmaker Nanni Moretti (as himself) takes off on his Vespa on a personal odyssey through the streets of Rome and across the Italian countryside, and is seen in a trio of vignettes questioning his movies, encountering "Flashdance" star Jennifer Beals, and consulting doctors over a strange body itch.
