Maverick filmmaker John Waters sets his sights on...well, maverick filmmakers with this subversive cinematic satire. Stephen Dorff is Cecil, a gun-toting guru of "terrorist cinema" who, aided by his off-the-wall followers, "the Sprocket Holes," kidnaps spoiled Hollywood actress Honey Whitlock (Melanie Griffith) and forces her to star in his no-budget work-in-progress. Alicia Witt, Adrian Grenier, Ricki Lake also star. 88 min. Widescreen (Enhanced); Soundtrack: English Dolby Digital 5.1; audio commentary by Waters; biographies; interactive menus; "making of" documentary; production notes; scene access; theatrical trailer.
