Charlie Bubbles

A surprising commercial literary bent lifted British novelist Charlie Bubbles (Albert Finney) out of his working-class Manchester roots...and plunged him into every debauched excess that Swinging ‘60s London had to offer. As he sojourns home to try and reconnect with his bitter ex (Billie Whitelaw) and estranged young son (Timothy Garland), he finds that life doesn’t resolve as neatly as art.
