To celebrate his 90th birthday, prominent actor Morris Applebaum (Peter Falk) invites his three children to his New York apartment where he informs them that, despite being in perfect health, he plans to kill himself to make an exit worthy of a thespian of his caliber. Can his offspring put their own neuroses aside long enough to convince their dad that it’s not quite time for the final curtain?
