Detective Mackenzie Bennett loves Christmas more than anyone except her mother, who's also a police captain and Mackenzie's boss. In her work life, Mack is smart, tough, and an excellent detective. In her home life, she thinks that cargo pants and heavy black safety shoes are just fine for a date. She knows that the right guy will be able to see past that. But when the FBI comes to town, asking for her precinct's help with a diamond theft case, Carson is their lead suspect.
