Rising up during the Oklahoma Territory oil and gold boom of the 1890s, the town of Cimarron City was the setting for this 1958-59 NBC sagebrusher. Mayor Matt Rockford (George Montgomery) and sheriff Lane Temple (John Smith) teamed up to keep the peace in their budding metropolis amid numerous enterprising scalawags. A host of guest stars were featured, and a pre-"Bonanza" Dan Blocker played a recurring role. Audrey Totter co-stars.
