With Ed Begley, Jr. The murder of a ranch owner's brother forces Columbo to work with a gangster, in "Strange Bedfellows" (1995). Rod Steiger also stars. A man is framed by his wife and her lover, in "A Trace of Murder" (1997). A mortician kills a gossip reporter to keep her quiet, in "Ashes to Ashes" (1998). With Patrick McGoohan. "Murder with Too Many Notes" (2000) finds Columbo investigating a famed composer who killed his protégé. Billy Connolly co-stars.
