Cornbread, Earl and Me

For urban youngsters Wilford (Laurence Fishburne, in his screen debut) and Earl (Tierre Turner), their neighborhood’s college-bound high school hoops star Cornbread Hamilton (Jamaal Wilkes) personified their hopes and dreams.
