Scarred by the untimely death of his parents, Corrado (Johnny Messner) lives a life devoted to vengeance as a freelance hit man. His nefarious handler Frankie (Joe Gannascoli) is the source of his work, and offers Corrado the opportunity of a lifetime: Knock off the aging kingpin Vittorio (Ken Kercheval), make it look like an accident, and a small fortune is his. He accepts, and is about to perform the hit when he is interrupted by Vittorio's new live-in nurse Julia (Candace Elaine). In his haste Corrado shoots Vittorio dead, spoiling the hit as he escapes out the window. His conscience doesn't let him get very far however; he stays close enough to hear Vittorio's son Paolo (Tom Sizemore) discover the body of his father, blaming the death on the innocent Julia. Corrado decides he can't let Julia die for his sins he rescues her, the two escaping into the night. Corrado and Julia find themselves on the run in a whirlwind tour of Los Angeles, attempting to escape Paolo's army of thugs, killers, and crooked cops.
