As the world outside 19th-century Cranford begins to rapidly evolve and the construction of a new railway moves closer to the English town, Matty Jenkyns (Judi Dench) takes some cheer in the return of her brother (Nicholas Le Provost) from India. Meanwhile, talk gets lively about the coming of a wealthy widower and his handsome, educated son (Tom Hiddleston). Imelda Staunton, Barbara Flynn co-star in this follow-up to the 2007 miniseries. 177 min. Widescreen (Enhanced); Soundtrack: English Dolby Digital stereo.
