Set in post-WWII Germany, this suspenseful, multi-layered drama stars Nina Hoss as Nelly, a former cabaret singer who's undergone major plastic surgery on her face to hide the disfiguring tortures she endured at Auschwitz. Back home in Berlin, Nelly seeks out her husband Johannes (Ronald Zehrfeld), who doesn't recognize her and asks her to pose as his "dead" wife to claim an estate. As she plays along, Nelly seeks to prove it was Johannes who betrayed her to the SS. 98 min. Widescreen; Soundtrack: German Dolby Digital 5.1; Subtitles: English; "making of" documentary; interviews; theatrical trailer; more. In German with English subtitles.
