The films of Pierre Étaix are presented in this collection devoted to the recently rediscovered French auteur. Inspired by Buster Keaton, "The Suitor" (1962) stars Étaix as a man harangued about marriage and obsessed with a famous singer. France Arnel, Denise Péronne co-star. A tribute to silent cinema, circus comedy, and warm emotions, "Yo Yo" (1965) is the story of a rich, isolated man (Étaix) seeking love. With Claudine Auger, Philippe Dionnet. "As Long as You've Got Your Health" (1966) explores the '60s with four short stories involving vampires, movies, city stresses, and a day in the country. With Étaix, Péronne.
