Before "The Terminator" there was Garth A7 (Michael Rennie), a cyborg sent back in time to alter the future. But while the T-800 was trying to destroy mankind, Garth is on a mission to free it from oppression. He must prevent a scientist (Eduard Franz) from making an advancement in the field of mind control that will lead to the creation of a society where independent thought is illegal, while two cybernetic government agents from his time try to stop him.
