Dancing on the Edge

In 1930s London, a black jazz group led by an American-trained musician (Chiwetel Ejiofor) becomes popular enough to be invited to perform for English aristocrats, thanks to the resourcefulness of a white journalist (Matthew Goode) who steps in to manage them. Their liaison with a U.S. businessman (John Goodman), however, soon leads to tragedy. Compelling British miniseries co-stars Jenna Coleman, Mel Smith, and Jacqueline Bisset. 8 hrs.
