The forgotten sci-fi epic "Destination Space" is a feature intended as a TV pilot and stars Harry Townes and John Agar as commanders of a space station that's devastated by a meteor before a rocket launch. After Towne faces a Senate investigation, another planned launch turns disastrous. With Cecil Kellaway, Ed Platt. Then, a fugitive Nazi scientist has built a secret lab somewhere in Texas and constructed a time-travel device called "The Yesterday Machine." After experimenting by bringing Confederate soldiers into the present, the goose-stepping villain is ready to alter the past so that Germany wins World War II! James Britton, Jack Herman, Anne Pellegrino, and B-western hero Tim Holt star in this campy sci-fi tale. 129 min. total. Standard; Soundtrack: English.
