The Dick Cavett Show: John & Yoko Collection
Witty conversationalist Dick Cavett hosts John Lennon and Yoko Ono on three separate programs from 1971-72. First, John and Yoko share clips of their experimental films, as well as promotional footage for "Imagine" and "Mrs. Lennon"; next, Cavett introduces additional material of the duo from the first program, as well as interviewing guests comic Stan Freberg and Robert Citron; finally, guest Shirley MacLaine stops by, as John and Yoko fulfill a promise to Dick by returning to the show and performing live with the band Elephant's Memory. All-new introductions by Cavett are included in this two-disc set. 3 1/2 hrs. total. Standard; Soundtrack: English Dolby Digital stereo; featurette.
