Morgan Conway stars as Chester Gould's comic strip sleuth, hot on the trail of escaped killer Splitface, in "Dick Tracy, Detective" (1945), co-starring Anne Jeffreys, Jane Greer, Mike Mazurki. Conway returns to take down a murderous--and hairless--ex-con in "Dick Tracy vs. Cueball" (1946), with Jeffreys, Dick Wessel.
