Exciting family film chronicles the adventures of Xan (Alexander Michaletos), a 12-year-old South African boy, as he decides to return the cheetah named Duma he raised from a cub back into the wild. Travelling through harsh landscapes to ensure that Duma doesn’t wind up in captivity, Xan encounters lions, crocodiles, river rapids, and a mysterious drifter (Eamonn Walker) whose intentions may be sinister.
