A once-promising painter (Thure Lindhardt) takes a teaching job at a small Canadian college, and to make points with the community, he assumes caregiving responsibility for Eddie (Dylan Smith), the hulking, mentally challenged nephew of a just-deceased school patron. Turns out that Eddie's afflicted with a form of somnambulism that also gives him unholy appetites! Worse yet, the carnage gives the artist more inspiration than he's had in years!
