Love Me Tender (1956)

Elvis Presley makes his feature film debut in this Civil War-era musical drama, playing Clint Reno, a Texas man too young to fight in the war. Clint marries his older brother’s sweetheart after the family learns of his death on the battlefield. When Vance turns out to be alive, his return is fraught with emotional turmoil and complications.
