Enduring Love

As an out-of-control hot air balloon makes a forced landing in a field, university professor Joe Rose (Daniel Craig), on a picnic with his girlfriend (Samantha Morton), and bizarre religious fanatic Jed Parry (Rhys Ifans) are among those who rush to help. But when one of the other rescuers is killed in the process, Rose, emotionally tortured by the man’s needless death, finds himself relentlessly harassed by Parry, who thinks the two now share an indelible bond.
