Every Little Thing

French documentary filmmaker Nicolas Philibert turns his camera on a well-regarded psychiatric clinic in the Loire Valley, filled with troubled patients who are engaged in rehearsals for their staging of "Operette," an absurdist play by Polish dramatist Witold Gombrowicz. Working side by side with the inmates in the tranquil, isolated setting, the staff assists the unique cast in working their way through the play's bizarre material. 99 min.
