The Experiment

This remake of the 2001 German film of the same name is an adaptation of the events surrounding the infamous Stanford prison experiment conducted in 1971. A team of psychiatric researchers at Stanford University doing a behavioral study converts their basement into a mock prison and randomly assigns students roles as prisoners and guards. The chilling results cause a premature halting to the exercise. Adrien Brody, Forest Whitaker, and Maggie Grace star. 96 min.
