When botany professor Grant Jordan (Fred MacMurray) marries widow Katie Armstrong (Claudette Colbert) with three children, the entire family takes a madcap honeymoon vacation to the Grand Canyon. This doesn't sit too well with Grant's scheming ex, Minna Fenster (Rita Johnson), who plots to win back the heart of her old flame.
