John Ireland is Frank Webster, an independent trucker who's falsely accused of murder after a high-speed chase and wreck with another trucker. Busting out of prison to clear his name, and with the law hot on his tail, Webster steals a Jaguar and takes the owner (Dorothy Malone) hostage.
